Hey Partners,

We're going to have a Black Stallion Contest ... for fun and prizes!
See what you know about Alec, The Black, the movie and the book ... hopefully this will be the first of many ... let us know what you think!

This first contest is simple ... just a few questions about "The Black Stallion":

1. How many books did Walter Farley write in his lifetime? How many were made into movies?

2. When was the first time Alec had to use his pocket knife? What were the handles made of?

3. What is the name of the port where the Drake loaded the Black Stallion?

4. What was the name of the Race Track where Alec had his night ride? Does this track really exist?

5. Who was Neville's Folly?

The books and movies should be available at your library if you don't remember ... some answers are on the site www.theblackstallion.com
