Question about Jay
I'm new at this, so I hope this isn't old hat. About the mysterious visitor at the beginning of THE BLACK STALLION MYSTERY (The one who comes back to the stable to talk to Alec and Henry). He's never seen again in the book, and clearly has nothing to do with the death threat to the Black. SO - Is he actually Jay from THE ISLAND STALLION RACES? (Alec does say something about his eyes being "as clear as crystal"). On the other hand, Jay and Flick haven't been back to earth since the 1800s, so how could Jay have seen the match race with Cyclone and Sun Raider? Any solutions? |

I never thought aout that. I just thought it was a polite and visting fan of the Black's. I guess it's one of those times where Walter bend's the time line a bite agian. But I'm glade you pointed that out I never really thought about that one. |
